Alêtheia is a concept common in Greek philosophy, referring to a notion of truth that "unconceals"—truth is latent, it only needs to be uncovered. It was taken up by Heidegger in connection to being (Dasein): unveiling truth is a historical, and lived experience. Heidegger shifts the concept away from the transcendental and into the material.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
